PD Tvrdošovce

Tvrdošovce Agricultural Cooperative (PD Tvrdošovce) is a member of the  SK FRUIT marketing cooperative and the Fruit Grower’s Union of the Slovak Republic, and is engaged in many forms of crop and livestock farming. The cooperative mainly grows fruit on 68.4 hectares of land, almost half of which is apple orchards. Besides apples, PD Tvrdošovce also grows apricots, peaches, tomatoes and sea buckthorn.

The agricultural cooperative is actively involved in viticulture and livestock production, while also operating its own riding school and fishing pond.

Staff at the cooperative have many years of experience in agriculture. They know about the ongoing intense competition in this field and are aware that to survive means standing out among competitors. This is one of the reasons they are intensely focused on the quality of what they produce and are investing into new technology as they strive to offer newer, more attractive products. One such product is sea buckthorn.
